As some of you already know, David and me take a couple of days in the year to take a trip just the two of us. I love these trips because we can get to know new countries (a passion for us) and have some alone time with him :0) Mom Barlow comes to stay with the kids at our home so we really enjoy it knowing that the kids are better taken care of than even being with us. The girls love when grandma comes and I am excited for Isaac to get to know her better. She lives in Utah so we love when she comes to visit. This year we have decided to visit 4 countries in Asia. Before we go on these trips we read a lot about each country and plan every single day! We try to make the most of our days and it has worked really well so far. We do the "must see" places, try the food, watch the people, etc...Anyways, even having a couple of months before our trip I have been reading about the countries we are going to visit and I am totally in the Asia mood. I was reading about China on the internet and I came across some of the places that they have here in Hawaii of the Asian culture. We decided to go and check out a really fun and special place for them right here in our island called "Valley of the Temples". It was nice being there but I really can't wait to be in Asia and see the real thing! :0)

My cute little girl that is not so little anymore!

They have these huge Asian bells, you are supposed to hit the bell for good fortune

My boy

Dave and Ike. I love those mountains in the back, I always think that when Heavenly Father made the Ko'olau-Pali Mountains he had fun playing in the dirt...Gorgeous!

My girls

As a tradition NO SHOES are allowed in any of their buildings/Temples

Inside the Temple

Isaac loved watching the fish
