Brazilian Food and the Payson Temple

Today I visited the new Payson Temple, ate at the Sweet Spot Brazilian restaurant and slept at my sister Marisa's home.

 

Temple Day and Beach time!

Our ward has a tradition to have a session together the day after Thanksgiving.

Since they had babysitting for us David and I went to Temple in the morning

and after lunch we spent the day with our friends the Ogdens.

I love the beaches of North Shore, we went to Kahana Bay and the kids had tons of fun together

playing on the water and kayaking, while I relaxed on the sand with Holly. 

I love going to Temple with him...

Laie Temple with my family!

I woke up at 5:30am today!

It was one of my friends first time in the Temple and their Sealing too!

Hope and Rob were in my Gospel Principles class last year and it

was pretty special to share this time with them!

Since we leave almost a hour and a half from Laie we had to leave pretty early

to be there at 7pm.

My friend Megan babysat the kids for us and I loved being able to be in the same session with David.

I am so happy for Hope and for all of the people that do their best to be able to receive the 

blessings of the Temple.

It has for sure made me a better person and I love being there whenever I can!

After the Temple, I had to stop at Chris's pastelaria and have some coxinhas, pastel de carne and guarana :)

My life can be peaceful

The kids continue to keep me on my toes

(as you can see it...Hannah -by herself- trying to carry a 23 pounds baby down the stairs,

Isaac keeping getting into anything and everything, 

eating cauliflower only if it is topped with cheese...healthy? NOT,

or calling me from the top of his lungs only to give me a hug

or Sam, who goes up the stairs a million times a day

and cries so I can bring him back down...)

being a mom of 4 is not easy for me but it makes me really happy!

Tonight I went to Temple again

I am doing good with my once a month goal visit...

nothing like having a very peaceful night after a crazy day.

Happy: Tomorrow is General Conference! I am really excited about it. Maybe we will have more Temples in Brazil? I can only hope so :)

Temple and "Coxinha" Day!

Thanks to Isaac I do not have the pictures that I took the past week,

looks like he learned to delete all of my pictures and videos from my Iphone :(

David and I went to the Temple today.

Because we didn't plan it we did not have a babysitter for the kids so

I dropped him off first and after he was done it was my turn to 

do a session.

I also enjoyed some Brazilian food from Christina's place.

I love going to the North Shore because of the "Pastel and Coxinha"

and for the awesome beaches.

 I was watching David walking towards the Temple and it felt so good

that he can go inside...

I'll drop you off there anytime babe! :)

After the Temple, we met up with one of David's childhood friends.

Mike and Angie and their two kids are visiting Hawaii again from Texas.

Temple = Blessings

The Temple is one of my favorite places to be.

I love all of the peace and the time I spend there every time I go.

Tonight I went to the Temple by myself while David stayed home with the kids,

and when I go to Laie I always have some "Brazilian" food.

I am very blessed indeed  :)

After almost two years closed for renovations
our Temple
is open again and one of my favorite things is that I can enjoy it
with Dave.
We had a reserved session so we could go with our ward ohana.
We also had members to watch all of the kids
including my little Sam.

Rededication of the Laie Temple

Today was a very special day...
David, Belle and I went to the Laie Temple Re dedication.
Since I heard about the chosen date I wanted to
order a cute handkerchief to use it at the red dedication day
so I could keep it forever...
Do you know one of those pretty ones that have lace or ribbons right?
Well I didn't order it on time and this morning I had to get one from David's mission.
The handkerchief was not cute or pretty and by the time I was done listening to the talks
and the Prophet's prayer it was not
clean either!
PS: I am talking about all of the tears and what comes with it :)
I will keep it forever for sure anyway
and don't worry I did wash it before putting away...

The funny thing was that Belle forgot her handkerchief at home and David splitted his. Thankfully the three of us had covered :)

My sister stayed at home with Hannah, Isaac and Sam since they just gave out tickets for kids over 8 years old.

I was with the Prophet!

Today was a great day!
Our Temple will be rededicated tomorrow and I was lucky enough to get tickets to go and watch the "Cultural Night Show"
When I heard a couple of months ago that the only people allowed to see the show live were the youth parents I was sad.
When I told the Young Women President
that I would love to be a volunteer and that I would do anything to be there to see the Prophet
and to watch the kids perform
I didn't know that she would call me if she had extra tickets.
She did and I was more than happy to go with my sister, Belle, Hannah and Sam.

the way I feel when I am in the same room with the Prophet.
What a night!
The show was AWESOME and the feelings...
are mine to remember it forever.
