Welcome Fall Dinner

We had friends over for dinner tonight after "General Conference" to welcome Fall! I know we don't have fall in Hawaii but the weather does get a little cooler and I was in a mood of cooking :)
Since we can't have warm apple cider, hot pies, fireplace going or even wear our boots I planned a welcome Fall outside dinner but with the summer vibe!
We had the Smiths, Baglayons and De Lima Families and Inis who is visiting us from Las Vegas. I was happy because I was feeding a lot of people. 8 adults, 11 children and my baby Sam to be exactly.

I used lemons for my decorations and my menu was:

White Rice
Spring Mix Salad
Baked Salmon with Mango Sauce
Grilled Chicken
(Flavors: Lemon and pepper/ Garlic and Herbs/ Teriyaki)
to drink: "Jarritos"
(Mexican Soda)
and for dessert:
Hawaiian Fruit Salad
(tons of coconut and condensed milk)
Strawberries Danish Dessert

It looks good but tastes even better!

Today I am thankful for GREAT Family and Friends!

Love makes a family

I stayed home today because Belle had to go really early to do team pictures and David had to ref another team's game, in other words, they went to the field at 8am and came home at 2pm. I feel guilty sometimes to not be there for EVERY single game or thing they have but I know I also have to learn how to let it go. I have two little boys under 2 years old and to be in a soccer field for 5 or 6 hours is just impossible for me right now.I am thankful David understand me and know I need tons of help with the kids. I am thankful that my Belle knows I love her, even if I am not always there for her. I am thankful for the love I have from my family.

Today starts another
General Conference
weekend.

I am really excited to listen to the Prophet and other General Authorities.
