Katakolon - Greece

We were having a blast in our ship. Costa Serena was huge, fancy and I was really excited to spend so many days in it. Our second stop was in the city of Katakolon in Greece. We booked a day tour in the famous site of Olympia.
Olympia is the site of the ancient Olympic Games, which were celebrated every four years by the Greeks. It is a place full of ruins and history. I had a awesome time learning with a local guide all about this great place.

                             1-the place where the Olympic flame is lit every time even in our days.
                             2- Temple of Hera ruins.

Loved:

1- the history class I had.
2- weather
3- to be on the exact place the Olympics torch is lit.

Didn't love:

1- not having more time to see the Katakolon town.
