Our vacation to Asia- SOUTH KOREA

I loved South Korea! The people were very nice and happy. The weather was great and it was awesome to see the places and know a little more about their culture!

We were so lucky when we got to this palace because they were celebrating some important dates for Koreans and we got to see a great show from their culture: music, dances, and fights, at the Changdeokgung Palace

-Gyeongbokgung Palace. Built in 1394, it was the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty.

Gorgeous colors for their fall too!

The Hwangwonjeong Pavilion

North Korea was right there...scary!

People were still very concerned about the swine flu everywhere!

In front of the "Blue House", the Korean presidential home.

We were not very impressed with the food on the streets!

Don't even talk about it...

Crazy markets all over the streets

Trying some breakfast thing...it was not good at all! :0)

Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-shin. One of Korea's greatest military leaders and a national hero.

Statue of King Sejong the Great. The fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty. He created the Korean alphabet Hangul.

Can you understand anything?

The Korean War Memorial

We went to this great Korean Culture Center, it was totally awesome!

Can you tell I was thinking about my girls when I decided to take this picture? These kids are so cute!

Don't ever forget to take your shoes off everywhere...

At the culture center stage show

I am tall in Korea! At least somewhere in the world huh? :0)

Trying some native outfits!

David in a Hakch'angui and I was wearing a Chogori.

Seoul Tower and our tour bus.

The changing of the Guard at Gyeongbok-Gung Palace

Their streets are full of their cousine samples...I didn't eat because I didn't even know what it was!
