Our vacation to Asia- CHINA

David and I went on a great vacation to Asia. It was nice for me to see how they live, learn about their culture and feed my passion for visiting other countries...
We visited Japan, South Korea and China. I have learned a lot more about these people and I did have a lot of fun there.

China was full of history, something that I love! It was awesome to see all of those buildings, learn a little more about communism and how different they are from us. We had for sure a hard time in China with the language barrier. We could not find English speaking people at all in the streets, restaurants, no tourist information centers etc...It was nice to have a tour guide to help us some of the days. It was really cold there, we had to get some gloves and hot chocolate...
I loved these days that I had in Asia, I love to travel so much and I hope to go back to see other countries from this interesting continent!

Tian'anmen Gate, you know you were in China when you have a picture in front of this place! :0)

They looked like boys to me...
Tian'anmen Square, the biggest square in the world!
Going up to the Great Wall...the first snow of the year and we were there to see it...blah! :0)

The Wall was everything I expected! It was gorgeous...

I TOUCHED it!
It has always been a dream for me to touch three famous buildings in the world...the first one was the Salt Lake Temple, check...the Great Wall of China, check ...now I just need to touch the Pyramids in Egypt :0)

We met some Brazilians on the way and had a very native lunch with them...
Statue of the Ming Dynasty Emperor Zhu Di at the Ming Tombs

Ming Tombs

Chinese people believe that if you hold hands with your sweetheart while going through this gate you will be together forever...our tour guide made us do it! :0)
The water cube...The Olympics "little city" was awesome! It was a huge area and it did look like a city!
David and the famous bird's nest!

Inside the Forbidden City! I loved the city, as you keep walking and walking things are greater, prettier and fancier...amazing!
Supreme Harmony at the Forbidden City

These palaces are more than 500 years ago, they were rebuilt after the wars and they look great!
I was really missing Ike and the girls by then...People asked us for pictures all the time but David was the celebrity one, everyone wanted a picture with the blonde guy with blue eyes and they would ask me to take the pictures! hahahahah

The original stone floor of the Forbidden City

It was a cold day and David got this pic of me basking in the sun :0)

This little girl's parents asked me to take a picture with her and they just put her in my arms. She was very cute huh? I learned from our tour guide that a woman in China can have up to 9 abortions to get a son...every little girl that I saw I was proud of their mom and happy for them to be alive!

Tian'anmen Square
The famous "People's Statue"

The most used transportation in Beijing! :0)
Outside the Forbidden City, all of the Palaces have these big motes around them.
So many people EVERYWHERE! It is the most populated country in the world for sure...lol

A proud Chinese girl!

They have these huge TVs to promote China in their square
The Beijing Airport is the biggest building in the world...
