We spent two days in Cairo! Visiting the Pyramids has been one of my dreams since 5th grade. I had a History teacher called Mr. Soto that made me love the history of Egypt. I always wanted to touch it, you may have an idea how cool it was for me to have this dream come true. I am done with my first bucket list. I touched the three places I had a goal to touch. Remember it?
1- The famous "Nile River" 2- Yucky sugar cane drink
Want delivered? Trying the Mac Arabia (served in a pita bread)
1- Cairo Museum, full of the coolest things of the world!!
2- The famous "Tahrir Square", as soon as the rebels saw my camera and flash they started running towards us...I never ran so fast in my whole life! I bet I was in the 4 minute/mile running club :)
At the Dsojer- Sakkara Pyramid
King Ramses II Statue in Memphis - can you find me? :)
Memphis Ruins
I touched it, I touched it!!!
One of my favorites places in the world!!
My first camel ride!
Going inside of the "Menkaure-Gyza Pyramid"
Making friends :)
They asked me to cover my hair so they could take a picture of me.
Inside of the Pyramid, it was scaryyyyyyy
Loved:
1- the Cairo Museum! It was awesome to see the King Tut's room. Totally AMAZING...
2- that I ran faster than the rebels!
3- the yummy local food.
Didn't love:
1- the little babies in their moms slings selling things on the streets. Totally SAD.
2- the crazy traffic and drivers.
1- Salt Lake Temple-check
2- Wall of China- check
3- Pyramids of Egypt- CHECK...
