A true HERO!

This Memorial Day I started doing something I should have done a long time ago.

I put it up a American Flag in honor of all of the fallen soldiers in the world.

Our flag today was in HONOR of KRIS Lorenzo

my neighbor/friend that was killed last week in Afghanistan.

We got together with Leah at the park in front of our homes to celebrate Kris's life

and I am so glad I got to go since I won't be in San Diego for the Funeral.

This week has been really sad, it is so hard to watch my good friend suffer so much

and have a little I can do to help her.

I think all day about her and her little boys and how the future will be and tears come to my eyes.

I am so glad I was there to give my friend a hug and to tell her that Families are Forever,

 that Heavenly Father loves her and so do I...
