I hosted our "Book Club" meeting here at my home tonight.
Every month the host chooses a book, everyone reads it and then we talk about it
while enjoying some desserts.
Since I was the host I chose a book that Mom Barlow gave it to me back in January.
"Before My Heart Stops" from Paul Cardall
is one of the best books I read. He tells his story about living with a half heart
for more than 32 years and his heart transplant.
I had a great time having the girls over.
I got a phone call at 4pm from Belle's activities days leader "reminding" me of the Mom and Daughter activity tonight...since I never heard anything before I got upset because I could not participate for the whole time since I had to be home before the girls arrived. After telling Belle that she had to tell me these things with time and bla bla bla,I got ready, called David so he could come home earlier, bought a pupu plate to bring and went to the park with Belle. We had a nice picnic and talked for a little until I had to run home before 7pm.
I decorated the table really simple, took advantage of the Easter month and got everything ready just in time..
Here is our group for tonight, we missed a lot of the girls but you know how it goes right? We can never be all there on the same day :)
Happy: that I read this book!
Sad: I had to leave Belle's activity early...

Milena,
Obrigada pelo recadinho e carinho no meu blog.

Hum... me deu água na boca!!!
