Tender Mercies

I started my day going to the

Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii

to talk about 

Brazil.

I love when people invite me to talk about my country.

The kids were really cute and had tons of questions.

For a sample of Brazilian food

I made "Passion Fruit Mousse" and Bruna helped me to make some

"Brigadeiro" too.

After I took the kids to swim at Sara's pool to another ward playgroup.

We had a terrible accident there with two little boys.

It was one of the hardest days of my life

involving the boys, water, CPR and a 911 call.

The boys are our neighbors, from our ward family and sons of a really good friend.

I am so thankful to the Lord because of His tender mercies.

At night I went to the Hospital to see my friend, give her a hug and let her know

how I was thinking about her and her little ohana.

I am so glad that one of the boys was discharged today and the other one

is at the PICU being very good taken care of.

My prayers are with my friend's family tonight.
