In the middle of December my Bishop called me to plan
a ward party and even tough I am Brazilian/Italian
I was supposed to plan a Japanese party.
That I love to plan parties is not a secret but it worried me because I have never been
to a "Shin Nen Kai" before.
It is the party where the Japanese celebrate the New Year.
It took a lot of hours, work, research, meetings but our party committee pulled it off
and the party was great!
We had more than 200 people attending, 2 hours of entertainment
(its not hard when you have a Hawaiian Grammy winner in your ward)
and Asian cuisine.
As always I had to much food left.
The lanterns looked pretty nice when we turned the lights off
