We had to break our tradition this year since July 4th fell in a Sunday :( We always went to Ala Moana Beach to play at the beach and to watch the fireworks but because we do not go to the beach on Sunday, we celebrated the holiday at the North Shore on Saturday instead. We went to our favorite spots, ate at the Brazilian place and visited the Temple area...Did I tell you that we have our Rededication date of our Laie Temple? It will be in November! I really hope Pres. Monson will come to the island again.
It was a fun day and at night we went to town to see some fireworks at the Aloha Tower. It was pretty good but I sure missed the party at Ala Moana...
