I am reading again this really cool book that my mother in law sent me a couple of months ago. I am always trying to find good books about motherhood and how other mothers went through the time when they had small children. I love to read from the General Authorities wives books. I love to have more ideas and know that I will be just fine even when I make some mistakes :0)
This book is the story of Jane C. Johnson's life. She used to be a major reporter of one of the biggest TV channels and she writes about her decision to leave work and be a full time mom. She talks about how we tend to think that we are just mothers and really don't realize that is the best thing in the world...for me it is the hardest, most demanding job I ever had but also the one that makes me happy...It's the most rewarding one for sure! Like Jane I would not change my life for anything in the world! I love being with my kids...
I was thinking about Isaac today, he is my "special" baby. I didn't have half of the experiences with the girls that I had or have with him. Every time I look at him I am just glad he is here and that I have him! I remember being at the hospital with him for so long and when I see him now I just want to cry because I am so happy! He still has problems but he is getting bigger and stronger. I have to let you know how thankful I am for having him with me, I love to be with him and I could watch him for hours...
I know one day I'll sit down and laugh of all of this, he will be taller than his Dad and I will remember the time when I cheered him for every ounce of milk that he took...
I could hold his whole body with one hand...
As you can tell, I sure don't have to beg him to take any milk or cereal anymore :0)

Hi Milena! I really want to read this book too!! I went to a seminar with the author and I was amazed on the character she has. She said that when she went to do the morning show, one of the apostles called her and said that the Lord told Him that she needed a blessing... She's a powerhouse. She said that although he had the craziest and most schedule working on TV, the schedule of being a mother is way more demanding... Cheers for all mothers huh? Cheers for you! You must be a super mom because all your children look happy!! Congratulations on the beautiful family!
